The Enemy Press: Always Looking For That Black Cloud

The Enemy Press Outlet McClatchy Newspapers reports on Iraq yesterday. As is wont with those who hate and desire to denigrate our efforts in defeating evil, they just have to find the black cloud and ignore the silver lining. Their headline reads: "As violence falls in Iraq, cemetery workers feel the pinch."

Sheesh! Can't find anything good to say about the war, can they? When violence goes up, they blame the President, when violence goes down they try to make it sound bad. Nothing is good for the Enemy Press, all is bad no matter what. Funny innit, how all of the sudden the press is concerned that there's not enough dead people?

Venison! It's What's For (Soup Kitchen) Dinner!

The Christian Science Monitor ran a story about the rise in donated meat to help feed the poor. Of course this meat didn't come from whacko environmentalists or animal rights freaks or Humans Last!-ers, but from big, bad, Bambi blasting H-U-N-T-E-R-S. Yeah baby! Fudds unite!

Hunters for the Hungry is a loose confederation of state groups throughout the country who, in partnership with hunters, processors, and meal providers, are giving free meat to those in need. The NRA operates a clearinghouse of information for these organizations.

Meat is an essential source for protein and other nutrients that can't effectively be obtained from plant foodstuffs. Of course the usual suspects decry this provisioning for the poor. "'It's great to help others in need, but there are ways to help others that do not involve the recreational killing of animals,' says Andrew Page, director of the United States Humane Society's hunting campaign in Washington, D.C." In other words "Boo Hoo, Americans are getting fed by those we hate and demonize! We can't stand that! We must destroy an American heritage any way we can! Darn those hunters for being on the right side of the issue!"

Too bad for them, but it seems that "Food pantries for the most part welcome the addition of lean, organic meat, says Josh Wilson, national operations director for FHFH." Aww, sure to get the vegans panties in a bunch when they hear Americans want to eat meat! They sure don't like the skeleton look most whacko herbivores sport. And it's free range, organic meat! Another poke in the eye of the plant eaters....

If you're a hunter and would like to participate, check out the NRA's clearinghouse for more information.

History's Greatest Monster Deserved A Buttstroke

Ok, not that kind....

The whiny, crybaby POS from Plains was said to have "faced down Darfur officials," according to the Enemy press AP. Of course, that's what the headline read, and that's what the enemies of freedom wanted you to take away from the story, but the reality in the story shows otherwise.

The AP reports that America's worst president ever "Carter got in a shouting match Wednesday with Sudanese security services who blocked him from a town in Darfur where he was trying to meet with refugees from the ongoing conflict. The 83-year-old Carter walked into this highly volatile pro-Sudanese government town to meet refugees too frightened to attend a scheduled meeting at a nearby compound. He was able to make it to a school where he met with one tribal representative and was preparing to go further into the town when Sudanese security officers stopped him. 'You can't go. It's not on the program!' the local security chief, who only gave his first name as Omar, yelled (ha! ha!, bet that really steamed the thankfully former president) at Carter, who is in Darfur as part of a delegation of respected international figures known as 'The Elders.' (or better known as the self-important, pompous asses) 'We're going to anyway!' an angry Carter retorted (sobbed, most likely) as a crowd began to gather. 'You don't have the power to stop me.' U.N. officials told Carter's entourage the Sudanese state police could bar his way. Carter's traveling companions, billionaire businessman Richard Branson (hey, this punk owes me $ )and Graca Machel, the wife of former South African President Nelson Mandela, tried to ease his frustration and his Secret Service detail urged him to get into a car and leave. 'I'll tell President Bashir about this,' Carter said (pouted, with trembly lips), referring to Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir."

What a whiny, childish bundle of twigs! Carter didn't face down anyone. He was the one who backed down. He bravely ran away, away! When danger reared its ugly head he bravely turned his tail and fled!!!! Ha! Ha! Wouldn't it have been nice if the Sudanese guards buttstroked his traitorous carcass with the back end of an AK when he got mouthy!! Oh so richly deserved. If only people in America would treat this piece of trash the same way.

Fewer Hunters, More Problems

It seems the number of Americans hunting is in decline, according to the AP. The story appears to be a straightforward account of how hunting is losing its attraction. Of course, as it's the Enemy Press AP, we know that the apparent evenhanded tone is a false front.

The story does accidentally give numbers and a warning for the possible havoc created by the loss of hunting range and the culling of game animals. Not the least is the loss of funding for state wildlife agencies. "Of the 50 state wildlife agencies, most rely on hunting and fishing license fees for the bulk of their revenue, and only a handful receive significant infusions from their state's general fund. 'They're trying to take care of all wildlife and all habitats on a shoestring budget,' said Rachel Brittin of the Washington-based Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies." That, of course, is an unintended consequence that the envirofreaks don't realize. They can crow about the increased numbers of wussified bird watchers, but the truth is that no one contributes more to wildlife conservation than those who hunt and fish. The effete birders and wildlife voyeurs do nothing for the wild, except try to keep the benighted masses they abhor out of it.

Oh, and the AP? Here's evidence of their bias against freedom. "One rift involves hunters disenchanted with the National Rifle Association, which runs major hunting programs and lobbies vigorously against gun control. A Maryland hunter, Ray Schoenke, has formed a new group, the American Hunters and Shooters Association, primarily as a home for hunters who would support some restrictions on gun and ammunition sales." Really? No. It's obvious by the make up of its leadership that the AHSA is run by implacable anti-gunners. They have ties to politicians openly hostile to your right to protect yourself from crime and possible government tyranny. The National Shooting Sports Foundation has more about this sinister organization here. Pretending that a hoax group is defending our constitutional rights when in fact they are trying to suborn them. Good going AP, but you've been exposed again.

Many private organizations are trying to bring hunting back into view as an honorable pursuit. Besides the financial benefit to states, more hunters translates into more shooters who take gun safety courses and more people available to protect their neighbors during disasters. A win-win situation for the country. One problem is the lack of hunting areas. Leave it to government to make buffoons of themselves in this regard.

The Valley Morning Star out of Harlingen Texas posted an editorial earlier this summer about a Park Service plan to thin out a population of elk in the Rocky Mountain National Park. Seems our clever overlords have settled on a peach of an idea to cull the herd "involving the hiring of specialized sharpshooters to conduct elk hunts at night, using night-vision equipment and silencers. That way, the public never has to see — or know — what’s going on. It’s obviously the most expensive, convoluted and politically correct way to get the job done — which is why it’s the option favored by the feds." How incredibly stupid! How foolish and absurd! Yet, the option of allowing hunts to be opened to the public is ignored. Can't expect the government to save hunting. Nor should one.

Ah, Shoot! doesn't hunt and has no desire to, but we do see the danger in falling numbers of those who do. If the public loses interest in this avenue of gun use, it will make it easier for those who hate our gun freedoms to diminish our rights by incrementally taking away our familiarity of firearms and thus easing their path to gun bans. We need to hunt to maintain our rights or we will see them slowly disappear.

Presley Gun Stolen?

Quad-Cities Online reports an Enemy Press AP story about the disappearance of a handgun owned by Elvis. It seems a visitor to Graceland noticed the gun's display case was ajar and the gun was missing.

The story states "A video camera caught a man removing the pistol from the display case around midnight." Now, are we completely sure that the gun didn't talk the man into removing him? Do we have any assurances that said gun isn't prowling the streets just looking for someone to shoot? Is it possible the gun is holding the man hostage? What evil intent does the gun have? We know that the man couldn't be responsible himself for the theft, the gun must have some type of hold over him.

Whenever the pistol is recovered, it would be interesting to hear what ordeal the man had to endure. Surely it was a horrible experience being controlled by a gun....

Louis Napoleon's Gun Found, Only Dropped Once

Enemy Press Network ABC reports that the FBI recovered a gun from a San Antonio, Texas, collector that purportedly belonged to the lesser Bonaparte.

Apparently the buyer didn't know it was stolen when he purchased it, but learned about it shortly thereafter. Of course knowing it was stolen property, he should have returned it. He tried to sell it instead and was caught by the FBI Art Crime Team. FBI Art Crime Team??? Whaaa?

The French government has demanded the return of Nappy's carbine. Considering they don't seem to have much use for guns, why bother....?

NBA Stars Homes Invaded

Yahoo! Sports reports an AP story concerning two NBA players who, along with their families, were victims of home invasion robberies. "Two hulking NBA stars were bound with duct tape and robbed of cash and jewelry by masked gunmen in separate holdups that have Chicago-area detectives wondering whether someone is targeting professional athletes. New York Knicks forward Eddy Curry -- 6-foot-11, 285 pounds -- was tied up along with his wife and an employee at his mansion in suburban Burr Ridge on Saturday. Miami Heat forward Antoine Walker, who is 6-foot-9, 245 pounds, was similarly robbed along with a relative at his $4 million townhouse in Chicago's exclusive River North section on July 10."

Wait a minute?! Chicago is a gun free paradise!!! How could these incidents have taken place? This story must be false! It must be some kind of Daley-Bloomberg plot to continue their crusade to disarm you.

The end of the story has a little nugget of information not often provided in other stories about guns. Probably because the reaction felt by the victim may lead to the understanding that you must take responsibility for your own defense, as the police may not arrive in time when you need them. "Curry's agent Lamont Carter said Curry had no immediate plans to return to his 'dream house.' 'He feels violated,' Carter said. 'He's relieved and happy that his family's OK. He's just relieved to be living.' Walker's robbery was so traumatic that the three-time All-Star said he was not sure if he could ever return home. 'I don't feel safe,' he told reporters shortly afterward. 'I feel violated a little bit. And now it's all over the news, so everybody knows where I live. I think it would be best for me to move on.'"

Amazing, isn't it? This man, described as a hulking NBA star, is afraid to be in his own home because armed men invaded it! If a hulking NBA star is afraid, how much more would a single woman or an elderly couple or a disabled person feel in that situation? Yet, there are those of that ilk, such as Mayors Daley and Bloomberg who desire that all of us be in that situation. Bound up and at the mercy of criminals. These NBA players had no other recourse except to allow criminals to bind them, breaking one of the most important rules about personal safety: do not let someone restrain you. Many times that leads to being killed. Never let someone do that, fight back. If you're in a public place, never be led out into a private place. Once the players and their families were bound, they were dead. Dead, if the robbers had wanted it that way. Fortunately, they did not.

Yet, so many of our betters demand that we submit to such criminal activity. They, of course, don't follow their own disarmament plans. They allow themselves to be armed or have armed bodyguards, you however, must submit to criminals. You must give up your life instead of your property. After all, to most of those who rule, you are not worth saving anyway. You went to the wrong schools, you have an imaginary friend who you visit on Saturday or Sunday, your carbon footprint is hurting the planet. No, better that you be disarmed and criminals run rampant. That way, the gun grabbers can be the "man on horseback," saving society from itself, while also giving away its freedom to the man on the white stallion.

Shark Attack In Hawaii

The Enemy Press AP reports in The Daily Journal out of New Jersey that an Ohio man was attacked by a tiger shark during a snorkeling session off the island of Oahu.

"The animal came after the a 36-year-old attorney from Toledo, Ohio, in clear blue waters in an area not known for shark attacks. The last such incident in that area dates back almost 50 years, the state's Shark Task Force said."

A lawyer, eh? What the hell happened to professional courtesy????

Killer At Large? Break Out The Guns Dad!

I had just exited my bedroom to get some clothes out of the dryer to wear to work last night when my Dad said, "When you back out of the garage to go to work, make sure the door closes completely before you leave."

"Why?"

"Because there's an escaped killer on the loose in the neighborhood and he's considered armed and dangerous. Helicopters have been scouring the area and cop cars have been going up and down the streets all night."

Seems a mistake was made at the jail earlier in the day and someone was released who shouldn't have been. Funny that it's always a killer who gets out by mistake instead of a check kiter or confidence man.

By the time I was ready to go, most of the action had moved a few blocks away. Still, there's no reason to take chances that he could have been missed, or backtracked his way to the surrounding blocks. So I opened the safe, took out my Makarov and Smith & Wesson and loaded both up with hollowpoints and handed them over to Dad.

I had absolutely no qualms about arming the household on the threat. I was unable to stay as I had the shift and no one else was available, but Dad spent time in the army and was conversant with my particular home defense implements. So, the Right to Keep and Bear Arms shows itself to be useful and relevant today.

The threat was over long before I returned home. However, imagine someone living in a place where self defense is barred by law. The household members would be reduced to cowering inside, hoping the wanted man didn't try to get into their house. No chance of self defense, having to rely on the goodness of evildoers to escape possible injury or death had the killer chosen their forcibly unarmed house. This is not the way for free people to live. Sadly, many in government in various jurisdictions desire this state of affairs. They hate the freedom that everyone is entitled to as Americans. Their sensibilities are offended if you or Joe Sixpack demand the right to vote, or to speak, or to worship in ways that our self appointed elite deems incorrect. They want you docile, they want you malleable, they want you to shut up and obey your betters - them. If you are able to defend yourself and others and run your lives without their aid, they have no reason for office. You will have no need of them or their rules. Perhaps this is the reason many are afraid of your rights.

Surrendercrats Attempt To Lose Iraq Again

The Northern Virginia Daily reports an Enemy Press AP story about the White Flag Democrats seeking to undermine our success in Iraq by forcing a pullout which will lead to a bloodbath of genocidal proportions. Of course that doesn't faze those in Congress who hate America and wish to see our country abandon again people who are fighting to maintain their freedom from thug oppression.

"Sen. Carl Levin, chairman of the Armed Services Committee, proposed legislation with Sen. Jack Reed, D-R.I., that would order President Bush to begin pulling out troops in 120 days and end combat by April 30, 2008." So here we are again with the Democrat Party looking for a way to abandon the mission and stab the troops in the back.

We do know that Iraq isn't making as much progress in taking over as we would like, however, that doesn't justify a complete pullout as those on the side of the enemy would wish. Too bad. What war has been finished in four years? The aftermath is still going on and will continue for the foreseeable future. Americans must learn to be patient, this conflict is global and will not be ended until the enemy has lost its will to fight. It will not lose its will if those who hate America continue in political power in this country. Aiding and comforting our mutual enemy has been part and parcel of the left since 912.

America needs to mark well the names of those who desire our defeat and make sure they are turned out of office at the next opportunity.

Enemy Press Obtuseness About UK Bombings

By now you've heard of the story of the multiple bombing attempts in Great Britain. Well, it seems our illustrious Enemy Press has absolutely no clue as to what may connect the bombers.

Here's a great example from our Enemy Press neighbours to the north. The Toronto Star published a piece of drivel about the puzzling - to the authorities anyway - motivation for the MUSLIM bombers. "All eight detainees have ties to Britain's National Health Service, overlapping in their duties at two hospitals in England and Scotland. Most also have roots elsewhere, but investigators have thus far found scant few common threads in their respective backgrounds in Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, India and Saudi Arabia.

Gadzooks!!! They have no clue. Or they are willfully blind or afraid to tell the public the truth! This buffoonery led me to write to the person on the byline, Mitch Potter of the Toronto Star's European Bureau:

Mr Potter,

Is the press really so blind as to see no connection between the UK bombers?

Do stories get written this way because the press is afraid, or are these stories based on a news outlet report?

Why would the Muslim Council of Britain feel they must issue any type of statement if the suspects had no connection to each other at all?

Does the press not enjoy our way of life? Does the press not wish it to continue for us and our descendants?

We have been subjected to false reports of anti-muslim backlash and have been conditioned by the media and government to keep our mouths shut when we see muslim extremists commit terroristic acts. Anyone who tries to downplay the real causes of terrorist acts is as dangerous to our shared culture as those who engage in murderous activities.

It's time for people in the press to stop worrying about being called a bigot for correctly identifying the motivation of terrorism and the identities of the terrorists. They will kill those who excuse them as quickly as anyone else they would target.

What would it take for the press to speak the truth about terrorism?

Respectfully,

Scott G

ps: I reserve the right to publish this e-mail and any response on my blog.

Here's the reply I received:

Duh. The question is not whether this is Jihadi-inspired. That's a given. The question is whether eight like-minded individuals cooked this up on their own or whether a larger foreign-engineered process took place. That's where the probe is now.

Well, haughty tone aside, at least he bothered to write back yes? Nah. For you see, someone on LGF also wrote to our writer hero and received the same letter back!!

Anyway, here's my response to him.

Respectfully Sir,

"Duh" isn't the tone of the story. They story says straight out "we don't know what possibly could be the connection between these people. Uh, they're doctors, uh, they're immigrants...."

I do thank you for your own acknowledgement that the inspiration for their actions is jihad.

Whether they went to the UK separately and serendipitously met there and hatched their plot, or whether they came together after meeting in Britain and then plotted isn't as important as openly stating to the public that their Islamist ideology drove their actions.

Islam is universal. They don't have to be from the same place to want to do the same acts and be willing to act on the admonitions of radical Imams. It doesn't matter if they "cooked this up" or a mosque preacher inspired them to do it. The fact must be stated clearly to the people: Islamism is the cause, not us, not President Bush, not Tony Blair, not the existence of Israel. Their evil ideology is the root cause of terrorism. Whitewashing their motivations helps no one. Not us, nor the "moderate Muslims" who just want to live in peace in the West.

Respectfully,

Scott G

As of this posting, he hasn't responded, and I don't expect one. He's been exposed as someone who although he knows the truth he refuses to tell his readers. Standard Enemy Press procedure.
